About Me

William Perry is a media composer, arranger, and musician based in Los Angeles, CA.  He started his undergraduate education at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, and later earned his master's at the University of Southern California.  Upon graduating, he was selected as one of five composers to participate in the 2022 Sundance Film Music Intensive with Peter Golub.  Later, he received the honor of being a part of the Society of Lyricists and Composers Mentorship Program with Cindy O'Connor, from 2024 - 2025, where he obtained valuable insight into the lives of working composers and songwriters.
 

Most of his life's focus is on the things that go unseen but are felt nonetheless.  He sees his role as a composer in a very similar way: to create an atmosphere, mood, or feeling that goes unseen but is felt deeply.
